To begin playing Vegas Three Card Rummy, the player must make an Ante bet within the table limits. Once that is made, he or she may also make a Bonus Bet by selecting that box on the table screen. After all bets have been made, the player and the dealer are dealt three cards each. The player must hope for a lower-scoring hand than the dealer, or that the dealer’s hand does not qualify by scoring 20 points or less.
After the player has been dealt cards, he or she must make another bet, which effectively doubles the ante in order to compare hands with the dealer. If the player chooses to fold by clicking the Fold button, both Ante and Bonus Bet are forfeit. If the player clicks the Bet button, his or her hand is compared to the dealer’s. The player will win if his or her hand either scores lower than the dealer, or the dealer’s hand scores more than 20 points. The option to repeat the previous wager is available once the round is over by clicking the ReBet button.
